Building a Successful Alumni Engagement Strategy
November 18th, 10 a.m. AWST/1 p.m. AEDT
The work of an alumni or stakeholder relations team should be led by a clear sense of purpose, priorities, and expectations – shared by leadership, front-line staff, stakeholders, and partners – captured within a clearly articulate strategy. A strategy or plan must be more than just words on a page or a one-time exercise that fails to connect to organisational goals and front-line work – it should inspire and shape our work. And, ultimately, a strategy’s or plan’s effectiveness is measured by its ability to be implemented and drive better performance.
This session will look at case studies that successful shaped alumni and stakeholder operations, with a broad look at core components of a successful plan and helpful processes that increase buy-in and integration into day-to-day work.
