Empowering Regional Women: Leading with Purpose through the Business Women’s Collective

Connection, collaboration, and community — three words that beautifully capture the spirit of the Regional Business Women’s Collective (BWC). I was recently honoured to be nominated and appointed Deputy Chair of this remarkable organisation, which leads, inspires, and connects businesswomen across regional communities.

BWC’s mission is to create authentic connections and a sense of belonging, empowering women to champion their worth and unlock their full potential. As part of this growing network, I’ve witnessed firsthand how powerful it can be when women come together to learn, share, and support one another.

From our Long Table Lunch, which raised vital funds for WA Mums Cottage in Mandurah, to our regular monthly meet-ups and the inspiring Women Who Lead event, BWC continues to build a community where leadership and generosity thrive.

In January, our committee will meet to shape the organisation’s strategic direction for the years ahead. My focus will be on strengthening the member experience, expanding professional development opportunities, and increasing partnerships that create lasting impact for women in business and leadership across regional WA.
